Pawan Kalyan’s much-discussed film Ustaad Bhagat Singh is set for its OTT debut this week, creating buzz among Telugu movie lovers eager to catch the star’s latest project at home. Despite the collaboration with director Harish Shankar, the film underperformed at the box office, but now hopes to reach a wider audience as it streams in multiple Indian languages starting April 16.
Meanwhile, the Tamil coming-of-age drama Youth, featuring Ken Karunas as both director and lead, is arriving on Netflix the same day. After garnering strong regional acclaim, the film’s streaming release in several languages could boost its national profile. Audiences can also look forward to Toaster, a dark comedy thriller starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra, directed by Vivek Das Chaudhary, premiering April 15 on Netflix in both Hindi and Telugu.
OTT viewers are spoiled for choice this week, with the Emmy-winning series BEEF returning for Season 2 on April 16, and the much-anticipated Hindi film Do Deewane Seher Mein starring Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi dropping on April 17. Platform exclusives like The Boys Season 5 on Prime Video and the Malayalam thriller Sambhavam Adhyayam Onnu on Jio Hotstar further round out a packed lineup.
With so many fresh releases across Netflix, Prime Video, Aha, and more, fans have plenty of reasons to stay indoors and binge. Keep an eye out—surprise drops may still be in store this week!
