Vaazha 2, led by Hashir H and directed by Savin SA, has arrived on Jio Hotstar after an extraordinary theatrical journey that saw the film netting over ₹250 crore worldwide. The film, a coming-of-age saga titled 'Biopic of A Billion Bros', also stars Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak V, and has emerged as Malayalam cinema’s most profitable recent release.
Building on the creative groundwork laid by Anand Menen in the original Vaazha and writer Vipin Das, Vaazha 2 continues the franchise’s energetic narrative. Produced by Imagin Cinemas, WBTS Productions, Shine Screens, Signature Studios, and Icon Studios, the sequel has now become available for streaming in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi. As anticipation surged for its OTT release, fans have been revisiting the first Vaazha on Jio Hotstar, where the Malayalam version has climbed to third place and the Telugu version holds tenth in viewership charts—indicating strong pre-release buzz.
