Vishwanath & Sons, the Tamil film now arriving as a Telugu dubbed release, headlines this week’s OTT offerings on Netflix. The film’s arrival is part of a broader trend of South Indian cinema finding new audiences through streaming, with recent months seeing several regional titles gain traction among Telugu viewers. Alongside Vishwanath & Sons, Netflix is also set to launch the Hindi series Chumbak, expanding its slate of original content for the Indian market.
September’s second week is packed with fresh releases across multiple platforms. On September 11, ZEE5 brings the Telugu series Panchanama and the Hindi film Ghamasaan, while Prime Video debuts The Revolutionaries, a new Hindi series. JioHotstar, meanwhile, is adding Ali Baba Aur 40 Bhoot and Prince of Mollywood, a Malayalam series, to its catalogue the same day. For families and younger viewers, Jungle Tales with Mowgli, an animated Hindi film, will be available on JioHotstar from September 12. The week wraps up with Chikoo Vs Bunty: Kushti Ki Jung, a Hindi animated film with a Telugu dubbed version, streaming from September 13.
September 11 stands out as the busiest day, with multiple premieres across ZEE5, Prime Video, and JioHotstar. Telugu audiences in particular have new options with Panchanama and the dubbed Chikoo Vs Bunty: Kushti Ki Jung. As highlighted in prior coverage from late August, streaming platforms continue to diversify their offerings, catering to a wide range of language preferences and genres. While last-minute additions are always possible, these titles form the core of this week’s OTT lineup.
