Following the acclaim for The Railway Men on Netflix, YRF Entertainment, the digital division of Yash Raj Films, is reportedly gearing up for another survival thriller titled Tunnel Men. The Railway Men, directed by Shiv Rawail and featuring Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyenndu, and Babil Khan, told the gripping story of railway workers who saved lives during the 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy. The series received praise for its intense storytelling and strong performances.

According to a report from Pinkvilla, YRF Entertainment is now developing Tunnel Men, inspired by the dramatic 2023 Uttarakhand tunnel rescue operation. This real-life incident saw 41 workers trapped for nearly two weeks inside a collapsed tunnel, capturing national attention and widespread media coverage. The new series aims to bring this extraordinary survival story to the screen, much like its predecessor did with the Bhopal disaster.

The project is currently in pre-production, with Shiv Rawail expected to take on the role of showrunner, continuing his association with YRF's digital ventures. Tunnel Men is also reportedly set to stream on Netflix, maintaining the studio's partnership with the platform for high-stakes, real-life drama adaptations.
