Faria Abdullah candidly addressed her biggest professional regret—turning down a role in the blockbuster film HanuMan—while promoting her latest release, Gaayapadda Simham. The actress, who rose to fame with Jathi Rathnalu, admitted that saying no to Prasanth Varma and Teja Sajja's devotional entertainer still weighs heavily on her mind.
Reflecting on her decision, Faria revealed, "I lacked brain back then, and hence I said no. I didn’t know much about the role. That was the time I entered the industry, and Jathi Rathnalu became a big hit. Whenever I meet Teja or Prasanth, my decision still lingers in my mind. I even tell them I missed the film." Her honesty struck a chord, as fans recalled how Amritha Aiyer, who took up the role, gained from the film's massive success.
HanuMan became a sensational hit at the box office, further establishing the creative prowess of director Prasanth Varma and star Teja Sajja. Meanwhile, Faria’s more recent projects have not managed to replicate the same impact, heightening curiosity around the box office prospects of Gaayapadda Simham.
With her latest film now in theatres, all eyes are on Faria Abdullah to see if she can bounce back and recapture the audience's attention with her newest performance.
