Mouli Tanuj Prashanth Reveals Blackmail Incident After Little Hearts Success

Mouli Tanuj Prashanth, who rose to fame with his debut film Little Hearts, has opened up about a troubling episode he faced following the movie’s unexpected box office success. The actor, previously known for his YouTube presence, became widely recognized after Little Hearts emerged as a sleeper hit, sparking conversations about his transition to the big screen.

Speaking at the teaser launch event for Donga Naa Koduku, Mouli recounted a distressing incident that occurred in the year after his film’s release. He shared that, despite the positive attention from audiences, he also encountered negativity and envy within the industry. Mouli revealed, “I experienced a lot of hate and jealousy in this one year. I can’t reveal everything. After Little Hearts’ release, a news channel called me and invited me for an event. I wasn’t feeling well and hence gently said no. I was blackmailed that my upcoming films would face the consequences if I didn’t attend the programme.”

He further explained that the threat left him feeling vulnerable, saying, “They thought I would be terrified if they scared me and that I couldn’t do anything about it. That’s true. I was scared. I attended the programme. I couldn’t do anything. To reach my goal and to survive in the industry, I will continue to endure such incidents.”

Mouli’s candid remarks have shed light on the pressures and challenges faced by newcomers in the Telugu film industry, especially after achieving sudden fame. His story has resonated with many, highlighting the less visible struggles behind the glitz of Tollywood success.
