Roshan Meka’s Emo Emo Idi Release Postponed to Avoid Clash with Venkatesh Film

Roshan Meka’s upcoming romantic drama, Emo Emo Idi, directed by Sailesh Kolanu, has postponed its theatrical release. The film, which also stars Preity Mukhundhan and features music by Hesham Abdul Wahab, was initially slated to hit screens on October 30, 2026. However, with Venkatesh’s family entertainer Aadarsha Kutumbam now scheduled for the same date, the makers of Emo Emo Idi have decided to delay their release.

This move comes as a gesture of respect towards senior actor Venkatesh, whose presence in Telugu cinema continues to command significant attention. Director Sailesh Kolanu, known for his previous work in the thriller genre, is exploring new territory with this romantic project. The film’s producers, Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, are backing the venture under the Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners.

Devadarshini plays a key role as Roshan’s mother, adding depth to the family dynamics in the story. While fans were anticipating the October 30 release, the team has assured that they will keep the excitement alive by continuing to unveil new songs from the soundtrack. According to the production team, a fresh release date for Emo Emo Idi will be announced soon.

The decision to postpone reflects the collaborative spirit within the industry, especially when it comes to supporting senior artists. As the team maintains momentum with music releases, audiences can look forward to updates on when Emo Emo Idi will finally arrive in theatres.
