Following his string of high-profile performances, Ranveer Singh headlines this action-packed sequel, directed by Aditya Dhar, whose cinematic vision has now been validated on a historic scale. Produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film’s ensemble includes stalwarts like Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Danish Pandor, and Rakesh Bedi, with music by Shashwat Sachdev adding further resonance.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge’s phenomenal run is reflected in its three-week collection breakdown: ₹690 crore in its opening week, ₹271 crore in the second, and a robust ₹120 crore in week three, propelling it to a staggering ₹1,081 crore nett in India and a total worldwide gross of ₹1,680 crore. Overseas markets contributed ₹404 crore, underlining the film’s global appeal. The Telugu dubbed version, in particular, has emerged as the clear frontrunner among regional releases, setting all-time records in the Telugu states and Karnataka for a Bollywood film, with dubbed language earnings crossing ₹73 crore.
This blockbuster’s success is attributed to strong word-of-mouth and the power of repeat audiences, making it the preferred cinematic choice as it heads into its fourth weekend. With Dhurandhar 2 inching closer to the ₹1,700 crore global mark, all eyes are now on how much further this box office juggernaut will go.
