Akhil Akkineni’s much-anticipated action drama Lenin is all set for a grand theatrical release, with shows in India kicking off as early as 5 A.M. on July 10. Marking Akhil’s comeback to cinemas after a three-year break, Lenin steers clear of the recent trend of paid premieres, opting instead for a standard early morning rollout across the country.

Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, the film features Bhagyasri Borse as the leading lady, with a powerful ensemble including Sivaji, Brahmaji, Sunil, and Eeswari Rao. Notably, the production is a collaboration between King Nagarjuna and Naga Vamsi, under banners Manam Enterprises, Sithara Entertainments, and Annapurna Studios, with Thaman providing the musical score.

Lenin has secured a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification, following 32 seconds of cuts primarily aimed at reducing graphic violence and toning down intense visuals. The final runtime stands at 158 minutes. Sources highlight that Lenin is "an intense, violent action drama rather than a traditional love story," as revealed by the censor certificate, underscoring the film’s gritty tone.

With worldwide shows set to start almost simultaneously, and the cast and crew expressing strong confidence, all eyes are on Lenin’s box office performance. Fans can look forward to catching Akhil in a new avatar, with reactions expected to pour in as the first shows unfold.
