Dhruva Sarja’s KD: The Devil Faces Fresh Roadblocks Ahead of Release
Dhruva Sarja’s highly anticipated film KD: The Devil has landed in troubled waters just days before its scheduled theatrical debut. The film, directed by Prem and produced by KVN Productions, has been making headlines for a series of controversies that have left fans disappointed and the makers on the defensive.
KVN Productions, already grappling with delays in major projects like Vijay’s Jana Nayagan and Yash’s Toxic, had pinned hopes on KD: The Devil to set a positive tone for the year. However, the film’s campaign was first derailed when a song featuring Nora Fatehi and Sanjay Dutt was taken down from YouTube over its objectionable lyrics. Now, just as the film was trying to regain momentum, its theatrical trailer has also been removed from YouTube due to the inclusion of uncertified content.
The production house addressed the issue directly, stating, “The trailer of KD: The Devil recently released on YouTube inadvertently included certain uncertified content during the certification process. We have therefore taken down the trailer and will be uploading a revised version shortly, in compliance with the certification guidelines. We sincerely regret this oversight and remain fully committed to adhering to all certification norms.”
With the film’s release set for April 30th and buzz at a low, all eyes are now on KVN Productions to overcome these setbacks and deliver a much-needed box office success.
