The project, directed by Balagam Venu, had initially generated a lot of excitement with big names like Nani and Nithiin rumored to be involved. Keerthy’s interest in the film evaporated after Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) was cast in the lead role, a decision that led her to politely refuse participation.
