Norah Fatehi, who features in the upcoming film KD-The Devil, has been handed a last warning by the National Commission for Women (NCW) regarding a contentious song from the movie. The track, shot on Fatehi and Sanjay Dutt, sparked significant outrage due to its lyrics, prompting the makers to take it down from social media platforms.
Directed by Prem and produced by KVN Productions, the film also stars Dhruv Sarja in the lead. The controversy has put a spotlight on the creative choices of the team, with lyricist Raqueeb Alam and other key representatives already having appeared before the commission. Notably, Norah Fatehi's appeal to send her lawyer in her place was turned down, with the commission insisting on her personal presence.
NCW Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar made it clear that "A final opportunity has been granted to Nora Fatehi to appear in person before the commission on April 27, 2026." She further stated, "The dignity of women cannot be compromised in the name of creativity."
With Sanjay Dutt also summoned and the film's release scheduled for April 30, 2026, all eyes are now on how the team addresses the NCW’s concerns before the movie hits theatres.
