Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming epic, Ramayana, is set to make history as the first Indian film to be released in the ScreenX format. Known for his recent successes in Bollywood, Kapoor now leads this ambitious project directed by Nitesh Tiwari, aiming to redefine the cinematic experience for Indian audiences.

Ramayana Part 1, which also stars Yash, Sai Pallavi, Ravi Dubey, Sunny Deol, Rakul Preet Singh, and Kajal Aggarwal, is produced by Prime Focus Studios and Monster Mind Creations. The film is scheduled for a global release during Diwali 2026, positioning itself as a festive season highlight.

Namit Malhotra, who has partnered with CJ 4DPLEX to bring the film to ScreenX and 4DX formats, shared, “From the outset, Ramayana was designed as a global cinematic experience. Our collaboration with CJ 4DPLEX enables us to bring this iconic film in innovative formats that match its scope and vision. SCREENX and 4DX invite audiences to engage with the story in a powerful new way.”
