Yash, who shot to pan-India fame with the KGF franchise, is gearing up for the release of his latest film 'Toxic', directed by Geethu Mohandas and produced by KVN Productions. The film is set to hit screens on August 26, 2026, and anticipation has reached a fever pitch, especially after a massive pre-release event that drew an enthusiastic crowd.

At the event, Yash addressed the audience in Telugu, impressing many with his language skills and his heartfelt concern for fans' safety during the proceedings. He described 'Toxic' as “original, path-breaking, sensational and bold”, assuring fans that it will be an “Oora Mass” entertainer. Yash also highlighted the film's progressive approach, stating, “Geethu Mohandas directed the film and in the film every woman character is unique and will be highly inspiring.”

Producer K Venkata Narayana expressed gratitude to Dil Raju, who is distributing the Telugu version, and praised Yash's vision to create an international film with an Indian soul. Dil Raju, reflecting on his initial skepticism, admitted, “I thought Yash lost his mind when he announced Toxic with a new name, director. But after looking at the footage, I apologized and immediately decided to be a part of the film.” He voiced strong confidence in the film's potential to become a pan-India sensation.

The cast includes Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth, and Huma Qureshi, with music by Ravi Basrur and a special performance by Vishal Mishra at the event. Although Nayanthara and Tara Sutaria could not attend, the event's energy underscored the film's wide appeal. 'Toxic' will release in multiple languages, including an English version for international audiences.
